Godiva Chocolate Drizzled Strawberry and Pistachio Pavlovas

Celebrate spring with a recipe that’s perfect for sharing with family and friends. Our delicious pavlovas, topped with fresh summer strawberries, crunchy pistachios and drizzled in dark Godiva chocolate are so simple but delicious.

INGREDIENTS

For the meringue nests:

  • 3 egg whites

  • Half a teaspoon of lemon juice

  • 150 grams of caster sugar

For the topping:

  • 85 grams pistachios

  • >200 grams of strawberries

  • 1 bar of Godiva Single Origin Dark Chocolate

  • 200ml Double cream 

 DIRECTIONS

  1. Pre-heat an oven to 100ºC or 80ºC for a fan assisted oven

  2. Whisk together the egg whites on a low speed until they are foamy then increase the speed to form peaks in the mixture

  3. Gradually add the sugar by adding a table spoon at a time until stiff and glossy

  4. Spoon 10 individual portions of the mixture onto a lined baking tray and bake for 1 hour 45 minutes

  5. Once baked, leave the meringue to cool in the oven

  6. Serve with fresh whipped cream, sprinkled pistachio and a drizzle of melted Godiva chocolate.
